Carrie died June 17, 1934 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at 77 years of age. Her body was interred 1934 in Waco, McLennan, Texas, Oakwood Cemetery.

She married Horace E. Whatley in Clarke County, Alabama, February 3, 1878.  He was the son of Martin F. Whatley and Emily Callaway. Horace died April 3,1909 in Texas. His body was interred April, 1909 in Texas, Barchain Cemetery.

He married Anna Tululah McClatchy in Falls County, Texas, June 14, 1899.  Anna was born after 1870. She was the daughter of Albert Alexander McClatchy and Mary Josephine Iley.

Robert Vance Daffin was born January 16, 1907.

William Dubose Daffin  was born in Lott, Falls Co., Texas December 12, 1908. William died 1997 in Trinity, Texas. He married twice. He married Nell unknown in Texas. He married Pat unknown in Lott, Falls Co., Texas.
